The support group meetings are to be carried out in a group setting, with family members &amp; caregivers of other patients suffering from dementia as well. It is also less likely that other people will take undue advantage of them. The truly tragic fact is that the family members often suffer as much, if not more, from the behavioural &amp; social symptoms that the patient is afflicted by.
